The anti-collision system FLARM...
- it warns in time of dangerous approaches of another planes
- it warns of cables and another fix obstacles
- it warns acoustically and optically
- funk concession is not necessary, because the operating system is in SRD band
- no complex installation – 12V, < 80mA suffice
- no configuration and deflection for the pilot by flight
- intelligent motion prediction minimizes false alarms
- it supports the pilot by the airspace observation
Flarm warns of collisions.
Collisions are unfortunately the second most frequent category of aircraft accidents. Flarm warns of another with flarm fitted flying objects and cables (over 28.000 obstacle coordinates from Switzerland, Austria, South Germany and France.).

Notice: FLARM IGC Flight Recorder will not be delivered calibrated according to "Sporting Code, Section 3, Annex B, chapter 2.6". This calibration is not necessary for the most of flights and it can be mostly executed after the flight (see SC3 Annex B Kapitel 2.5).
